NEW JERSEY MASTER PLUMBERS SCOPE EXPANDS

Scope of Professional Practice Re-Write Affirmed by Board of Examiners

10/6/2009 - The State Board of Examiners of Master Plumbers approved significant changes on September 2, 2008 to the "Scope of Practice" (N.J.A.C. 13:32-1.4) which will broaden and more clearly define the existing scope of practice for Master Plumbers. Included in these sweeping changes are actual citations from various other State agencies and departments. One of the most important additions to the scope of practice is a the addition of an extensive list of HVAC work that will now be included in the regulations.
